686 Women’s Smarty 3-in-1 Spellbound Jacket is great value for money

No one wants to travel with three jackets, but when I visited Alaska’s interior in mid-December, I knew I wanted a variety of options: a rugged shell, a puffy jacket, and a combination of the two. Instead of bringing three jackets, I packed 686 Women’s Smarty 3-in-1 Spellbound Jacket.
The jacket consists of a shell and removable layers that provide integrated warmth on the coldest days. Wear the outer shell only on mild days and the removable layer only for casual occasions.
The outer shell is made of 2 layers of infiDRY waterproof and breathable fabric, and the outermost layer is made of PFAS-free durable waterproof coating. It also helps remove stains and oils that can damage the surface of clothing. All infiDRY fabrics can be washed multiple times using specially formulated outerwear detergents such as Nikwax Tech Wash.
Lined with quilted puffy infiLOFT fabric, it covers your core with lightweight insulation made from groups of rounded filaments that retain heat individually but provide air circulation between each group. The result is moisture-resistant and has a loft-like feel, providing superior warmth. The lined sleeves are furry and warm.
Strategically placed snug fleece panels at the collar add warmth and comfort, adjustable wrist cuffs help you get the right fit on the fly, and glove-link internal thumb grips create a glove-to-jacket connection to keep snow out, The secure 5-point connection between the powder-proof skirt and pants also prevents cold powder from getting on your clothes.
The hood is helmet compatible and has a variety of pockets (for phone, goggles, passes and hands) to store all your gear.
The Smarty 3-in-1 Spellbound Jacket is available on the 686 website for $299.95 and comes in textured black, limestone southern floral, sassafras jacquard, and starlight blue dobby.
