I was afraid to go out because the last time I did, the black ice on the road shook my feet menacingly with every step. I was worried I was going to fall, but oddly enough I wasn’t that worried about, I don’t know, hitting my head because I was on my elbow and felt a vague numbing shock all the way up my arm. At least if I hit my head I wouldn’t feel the consequences.

For all of us who are also afraid of the outside world, let’s all agree to stay indoors and play some great games. Here’s what we’ve been clicking this weekend!

I…uh…don’t know. I’ll probably go back to Cyberpunk 2077 and see what I know about this DLC, I totally forgot the name of it but it was really good the last time I played it. Yes, this sounds like a vague plan.

This weekend I’m going to the local recycling center, about two miles away, so I can get rid of the old bed frame that my landlord “gifted” to me. When I get back, I’ll probably play more Kingdom Come 2 to review. In particular, I will try to figure out what uses belladonna has besides poisoning people.

I’m about to finish Minishoots’ Adventures, a 2D shooter with an old-school Zelda structure. So, if I have time on Sunday, I will finish the job.

I’m playing the relaxing canyoneer Caravan SandWitch right now, and it’s lovely: a mix of goofy off-roading and charming NPC chatter, sprinkled with just enough mystery to avoid sinking into dockless territory.

As we speak, Jeremy staggers back to work and I can see him through the window. Oops, black ice got him. Well, maybe he can get here in time for next weekend.

The moogle is hunting me. grazing. cajole. corral. One of them. The moogle in Final Fantasy 7 Reborn is an ugly, unnatural creature that’s nothing but sad and arthritic. I will bring them a sorrow they have never experienced before.

Saturday is mostly about sleeping and then playing badminton, so just a day of gaming, I’ll probably dedicate it to playing Marvel Rivals and… some kind of big game that I haven’t played yet to talk freely about. Or maybe I am, from Edwin’s perspective. But no matter what, I will keep my thoughts to myself.
