Delta Force Season 2 will launch new maps and add 3v3v3 mode like crazy

As with any emerging live-service game, the key to solidifying itself as a mainstay (or, if I’m being honest, just getting through the first few months) is having enough content and variety to keep players sticking around. free shooting games delta force We’ve done just that since launching public beta last month. Even though its debut season was smaller and shorter, it still bombarded fans with new maps, modes, weapons, events, and more. Well, for Delta Force Season 2the pace shows no signs of slowing down.
Let’s be honest, Delta Force Season 2, titled “Starfall,” is huge. You’ve probably seen how massive seasonal updates are for Call of Duty games these days – well, judging by today’s super-long development stream, Delta Force is doing a great job of matching that scale with Season 2. There’s so much new content coming, it actually makes me a little dizzy.
As expected, another new Delta Force agent will be added at the start of season two, and their name is Sineva. Sineva has a Rainbow Six Siege feel, complete with an indestructible riot shield, barbed wire traps, and the general demeanor of a Siege operator. However, he also has a grappling hook, and grappling hooks are always amazing. Name a bad grappling hook character. I will wait.
Delta Force will also enhance its battlefield-style war mode map pool with two new pieces of content. Knife Edge is a smaller infantry-only map, while Train Wreck is a medium to large map where you can also drive vehicles. Those who prefer the “action” evacuation mode will also get some new play areas. The Zero Dam map will expand with a huge new underground area located beneath the existing battlefields. Star City will also get a new space around the often-crowded industrial area and host a map-changing event called Broken Bridge.
Following the addition of the game’s first PvE Raid experience, Delta Force will also introduce more modes – albeit these are limited-time only. Hot Zone is a 3v3v3, turn-based game mode that sort of combines Grand Finals with CS:GO – the goal is to earn points by winning a round, which can be accomplished by looting MandelBricks and defending a zone as they unlock, Or simply kill all opposing players. Capture the Flag has also been added as an LTM.
Delta Force also takes the classic Call of Duty movement mechanic, the Dolphin Dive, and adds it to the game for every operator to use. This allows you to lay prone and adds some extra mobility for operators who currently lack this position.
In addition to three new weapons (assault rifle, submachine gun, and light machine gun), there is also a new grenade launcher gadget set to be equipped near you. Support operators can use it as a smoke grenade launcher, allowing them to lay out cover at longer distances and block line of sight. Commandos can use it in a traditional explosive sense, where it’s primarily used to disable vehicles.

Honestly, that’s probably only half of what was announced during today’s livestream. This is so wild. Team Jade has also confirmed that Delta Force will have four seasons in 2025, so there’s no denying that Season 2 content will be used to fill roughly three months of time. But still impressive.
Delta Force Season 2 begins on Saturday, January 18th.
