Google Wallet will soon get convenient search features

- The search function will help you find files when there are too many files stored in the application.

Google Wallet’s usefulness increased when it allowed users to add plain text files and digital copies of their passes. So you can add cards, ID cards, driver’s licenses, and just about anything else to Google Wallet, making it an incredibly repository of useful information. However, adding everything under the sun to Google Wallet can make it difficult to find the files you want. Thankfully, Google is working on adding search functionality to Google Wallet to make it easier to find the information you store in the app.

With the latest Google Wallet v24.52 update, we discovered the ability to search for information such as tickets and wallet transactions that you have stored in the app.
We managed to launch the UI for this search feature in Google Wallet, but were unable to get it to return any results. There is a search button in the upper right corner of the search UI to open the search screen. You can see the search screen in the screenshot below:
Additionally, we also managed to launch the new account switcher UI in Google Wallet:
These two changes are not yet live in Google Wallet. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
