Grand strategy game Stellaris gets its cheapest price ever on Steam

Things aren’t entirely rosy on Earth right now, and while consumer space travel seems a long way off, Stellaris offers a mechanically rich gateway to the stars above. Now you can enjoy space travel on Steam for the lowest price ever.
Released back in 2016, Stellaris has become a mainstay in the grand strategy game world. Developed by Paradox Studios, the makers of Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, and many other 4X games, Stellaris puts you in charge of creating a futuristic planetary kingdom and handling all the conflicts and decisions required.
What starts out as reconnaissance, base building, and surveying different areas ends up being an incredible tapestry of emerging storytelling. Should you barter with this race? What is happening in this area? Should we start a war?
Questions like these came to me in droves, and before I knew it, these were all I could think of. Paradox has been great for the RTS games you’ve played over the years, enjoy the updates and let what happens happen. Stellaris is a commitment, but it’s also a reward, and if you’re interested, Steam’s current discount is perfect.
It’s a solid space game that satisfies a few specific needs, including “Can I build a StarCraft utopian future?” In my case, the answer is no, but you might have better luck! Still, it’s pretty cheap at this price point.
Stellaris is currently 90% off on Steam, priced at £3.49/€4.19/$4.29. Check out our Stellaris console commands and Stellaris DLC guides to make your journey across the universe smoother.
