Here’s another look at the Galaxy S25

what you need to know
- Popular phone skin maker Dbrand has started selling skins for the Galaxy S25 series.
- Looking through the provided renders, we can see the rear camera layout and flat edges.
- After smoothing out the edges of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra gets the job done.
It is expected that the Galaxy Unpacked launch will be less than a month away, and at the same time, more and more details of the Galaxy S25 series are beginning to emerge. The latest one comes from Dbrand, which has opened pre-orders for those who want to skin their new phones when they arrive.
Technically, this is the second series of devices Dbrand has leaked in the past month, after the company announced a rumored new case for the Nintendo Switch 2. and S25 Ultra.
Instead, you can get a rough idea of what to expect when you use the Galaxy S25 skin customizer tool. This doesn’t really reveal much more that we haven’t seen yet. But what it does do is provide some additional confirmation that Samsung is ditching circular frames for good.
This is a trend we’ve seen in many of the best Android phones, with a true rectangular design or “slate” design. The ominous sign is that after the edges of the Galaxy S24 Ultra become a little flatter, the same trend will appear on Samsung’s “Ultra” phones. However, these renders reveal that all three Galaxy S25 models will feature the same flat design.
Beyond that, it doesn’t appear Samsung will be making any other changes, at least not to the camera array. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus look almost identical, with three vertically oriented lenses flanked by an LED flash. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra once again sports five rear lenses, with the flash sandwiched between the telephoto lens and the laser autofocus sensor.
There’s a notable omission here, as the Galaxy S25 “Slim” isn’t listed. This is the fourth S25 model rumored to launch this year, but it’s unclear if the S25 Slim will debut on Galaxy Unpacked or if it will arrive later.
It’s likely that Dbrand is just using placeholder renders based on previous leaks of the device. However, given the various leaks we’ve seen, we’re hesitant to believe that this is the case.
That being said, we also don’t expect this to be the last we see or hear about the Galaxy S25 series. There’s still a lot of time between now and the launch of Galaxy Unpacked, so we may learn more about Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, if anything.
