Huge new Project Zomboid mod revolutionizes the entire game

There are many mysteries in it zombie plan. What on earth is Spiffo doing? Is the town in the center of the map called Ekron, Lake Fayas, or something else? If I want a sledgehammer, why do I have to drive all the way to Mudraf? But as Unstable Version 42 rolls out and The Indie Stone’s top zombie survival game continues to get better, a groundbreaking new Project Zomboid mod answers the biggest question: What was Knox Country like before the pandemic? Revolutionizing the Zomboid experience from top to bottom, this is an absolute must-play.

Unstable build 42 introduces a basement, a new lighting system, animal husbandry, and several new floors to the highly secretive military research base. However, key questions remain about how the Knox outbreak began. There are conflicting reports. For some Zombie Project enthusiasts, the virus is airborne and may have been created by the government itself. Crazier theories suggest it came from a contaminated batch of Spiffo’s special sauce. Regardless, we finally get a glimpse (albeit unofficially) of what life was like before everyone died and starved in a survival game.

“Week One” of the Project Zomboid modding icon “Slayer” is now available. Instead of mid-July, after the pandemic has devastated Knox Country, your game now begins a week before everything went to hell. There are no zombies. Human NPCs go to work, walk on the street, and rest at home. You’re free to enjoy life in Nox without any risk from the undead – but slowly, the infection begins to spread and the world comes crashing down. You can carefully check the operation of this module through “Thanetian Gaming”.

Some disclaimers. The first week is only for single-player players of Project Zomboid, and since it makes such drastic changes to the entire game world, it’s likely to have some pretty significant impacts on performance – Slayer’s recommendation is to use a sandbox setting to slow down Number of zombies and NPCs.

Additionally, you cannot use this mod during an ongoing game; you will need to start over. Again, Week 1 is made specifically for build 42, so if you’re still running an older version, make sure to change that in your launch options. You can now get the mod here.

Otherwise, you might want to try some of the other best zombie games, or possibly the best open world games on PC today.
