  • Other AI features include Microsoft Copilot access, custom background image generation and speech recognition.

LG has expanded its smart TV lineup to offer the world’s first truly wireless 4K OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The OLED Evo M5 and OLED Evo G5 models are powered by the Alpha 11 Gen 2 processor and include a host of useful AI features, including image enhancement, user detection and Microsoft Copilot integration.

LG first announced the news on its website and previewed the new wireless OLED TV at its CES 2025 booth. The new Evo models feature the company’s upgraded Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which relies on light-boosting algorithms to adjust brightness and add vibrancy. According to its claims, this makes it three times brighter than traditional OLED. The monitors have also received multiple certifications for their color accuracy, true black levels, and temperature stability.

The new LG wireless OLED TV is equipped with an Alpha 11 Gen 2 chip, which unlocks some useful artificial intelligence capabilities. These include optimizing low-quality images, adaptive audio and visual modes that respond to individual users, personalized recommendations on the home screen, and voice recognition. The TVs also offer Microsoft Copilot, a handy chatbot for related queries, and a custom background image generator.

LG OLED Evo TV is based on webOS and features a smooth home screen, intuitive UI and Google Home integration. The company promises to provide software updates over the next five years, introducing new benefits, fixes and other additional features.
