Looking back on 2024 and my 2025 goals

Sharing my year in review and my work goals for 2025.

Hi friends! Happy New Year! Any plans tonight? We ate Indian food in our pajamas and set off fireworks. No crazy plans, I’m happy haha. I’m so excited to wake up early and go hiking with my family in the morning!

It’s funny because I thought the last year of my military career as a pilot was going to be the longest year of my life. I think it’s going to be a painfully slow drag to the finish line. The reality is, this year flies by. I can’t believe he’s wrapped things up, he’s changed command and we’re getting ready for his retirement ceremony at the end of the month. There are many big changes ahead.

It’s been a year of great travel, fun time with the kids (kids grow up so fast. Liv turns 13 next week!!!), friend time, activities, family time at home, Time for nature, and it’s been an important year for me in my recovery journey. Last year, I celebrated a year of being free from eye problems and autoimmune symptoms, and I’m so grateful that it was the year I really adjusted my routine and felt the best I’ve felt in years (decades???). I created a free ebook here about my autoimmune journey and things that have helped me if you want to check it out!

Professional review:

From an integrative health practitioner’s perspective, it’s been a year full of learning, expansion, and client success. It was so amazing to see their wins, I reviewed over 100 lab tests this year! I was the winner of October’s EquiLife 100 Day Challenge (#7! Wow!) and the winner of last spring’s top five IHP titles. I was also invited to participate in the Centurion program and receive three months of training with 15 other IHP and EquiLife faculty members to take our laboratory analysis to the next level. From that point on, I was able to start reading about experiments from EquiLife customers, in addition to my own experiments.

I feel so lucky every day to be part of a company with an incredible mission and inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP has in store next year!

I’m superstitious when I say this, but this blog’s ad revenue has been its best year in at least 5 years. My SEO team has been working hard behind the scenes and we are really starting to see the results of their efforts. In addition to useful SEO driven content, my goal is still to post interesting personal posts here (the type I enjoy reading), as that’s what attracts new readers to the blog.

The podcast continues to do well, but one of my goals is to put more effort into it in the new year, release more episodes and grow. Another goal is to post more content on LTK because I love sharing clothing and gift ideas.

As far as sponsorships go, this year I’m partnering with a company that I admire and love: NOW Foods. I am very grateful for their ongoing partnership and will continue to work together in 2025. values. I would never blog about a company that I don’t 100% love and support.

I would also like to thank affiliate partners including Nutrisense, EquiLife, IHP, Sakara, HigherDOSE, Danger Coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, ButcherBox, Aviron, Canopy, Somavedic, Air Doctor, Vivarays, Pvolve, and everyone who purchases through the site. of links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog going) and I’m so grateful. This year I also started working with Oliveda and Lifewave; I’m super excited about both companies!

This month is the last month of Fit Team workouts as we are designing my new signature plan. This is a 6-month program that includes functional lab testing, supplements and protocols, and personalized advice to help you feel your absolute best. It’s basically the culmination of everything I’ve learned and used on my own clients as well as myself to dramatically change our health and energy levels. I can’t wait to share it with you all in early February!

Personal and health goals:

My health goals are to continue to develop habits that make me feel my best, such as quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative exercises, nutrition adjustments, walking, exercise (I like strength training, barbells, spinning, Pilates and hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins, supplement deficiencies, and continue to use functional lab testing as an amazing tool. I’m proud of myself for taking control of my health and getting to the root causes of what I was going through, and proud of being able to share everything I’ve learned along the way.

Keep practicing your Spanish! This year I started working with tutors at Italki to improve my skills, and since we are returning to Spain this year I hope to feel more confident in my Spanish. (I’m a Spanish minor and can totally understand it, but I’m not 100% confident speaking it.)

Back to Bible study. After dropping out of school in the spring. I’ve just started working with EquiLife clients and am excited to make as many calls as possible! Now that I know how to use the platform better and can free up Bible study time, I want to make it a priority again.

Continue to be the best mom, wife, and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to live each day with a grateful, patient and loving heart. Some days are harder than others, haha, but my gratitude check in the morning really makes a difference in how I feel the rest of the day.

I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of in the past year? Do you have any health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear it all!

I wish you a happy and lovely new year and I will see you soon!

XOXO

Gina
