Marriott expands in Spokane with chic new residential-style Autograph Collection hotel
Portland, Oregon may have made it onto TPG’s list of the best places to visit in 2025, but just across the border, Washington’s second-largest city, Spokane, has an exciting new reason to spend a few days visiting this evergreen city. State: Louie at the Davenport Hotel.
The Louie at Davenport, a redesign of a Davenport Hotels property in Spokane, will open in February with 48 residential-style rooms. Paying homage to Louie Davenport, the original namesake of the Davenport Hotels, guest rooms and hotel designs are inspired by the original Davenport Hotel before the developer opened it in 1914. ) an early 19th century residence during its original construction.
Located just steps from the Davenport Hotel, The Louie will bring a new standard of modern and classic luxury to Spokane. The entire hotel has an art gallery and library feel, where you’ll find one-of-a-kind antiques, a collection of books, knick-knacks and other items that celebrate Davenport’s Spokane hobbies. Those who love the finer things in life will be pleased to know that the Louis Hotel Davenport will be the first hotel in town to offer butler service once it opens.
Best of all, Hotel Louis will join the Marriott Autograph Collection, meaning Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and spend points when they stay in Spokane. (In fact, the entire Davenport hotel portfolio is on Marriott Bonvoy, including the Davenport Hotel, Davenport Towers and Davenport Grand Hotel.)
