New Monster Hunter Wilds open beta coming soon, featuring fan-favorite enemies

It’s our lucky day, as Capcom is giving us another chance to play the game Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Before the upcoming launch. So if you missed the first beta or just want to try out more weapons, this will be your last chance before launch. The next beta has a new monster, game-wide rewards, and more content worth your while, so it’ll be worth returning to Wilds if you’re giving it a try in 2024.

Monster Hunter: Wild’s release date is currently just a few weeks away, and to celebrate, Capcom is hosting a second beta for the upcoming role-playing game. The biggest new addition to Monster Hunter Wild’s second beta is undoubtedly the Gypceros, a returning monster from other games in the series. Gypceros is an avian wyvern that uses a dazzling display of flash, poison, and an elastic tail to protect itself – so you’ll be facing quite the challenge compared to the first Monster Hunter Wilds beta.

Capcom says that “tweaks including performance, weapon changes, hitstops, quality of life improvements, and more will not be present or reflected in the second open beta.” So if you’re eager to experience the changes to Monster Hunter Wilds , then you won’t find any changes in this new beta.

If you play Open Beta 2, you’ll get the Stuffed Cat Teddy Pendant so you can decorate your favorite weapons throughout the game. When you start Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll also get an item pack that will provide you with extra potions, rations, tools, and everything you need to start hunting with ease.

The second open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds is divided into two parts. The first event runs from Thursday, February 6th to Sunday, February 9th, and the second event runs from Thursday, February 13th to Sunday, February 16th.

As you prepare for the second beta, don’t forget to check out all the best Monster Hunter Wilder weapons, plus details on the new Monster Hunter Wilder Spotlight mode and how it works.
