Chocolate protein fluff ingredients
Chocolate protein powder—— Serve with any favorite chocolate protein powder or protein shake mix. I’m partial to plant-based pea protein or pumpkin seed protein.
This recipe works with brown rice, hemp, egg white, soy, casein or whey protein.
Cocoa powder—— Two tablespoons of Dutch-processed or unsweetened cocoa powder adds a richer chocolate flavor to the finished chocolate protein bowl. Or you can use hot chocolate powder.
yogurt – Any vanilla Greek yogurt will work here, including vegan Greek yogurt.
If you only have plain yogurt on hand, add a few drops of pure vanilla extract to the fluff before whipping.
Non-Greek yogurt works too. It turned out just a little thin and not as fluffy.
Sweetener – Taste and add sweetener of choice, if desired. I used unsweetened yogurt and sweetened protein powder and found that 2 tablespoons of sugar worked best for my own taste.
If you wish, feel free to add pure maple syrup, coconut sugar, honey, or a sugar-free option like stevia, monk fruit, or allulose.
Some people who use sweetened yogurt may find that they don’t need any additional sweetener at all.
Optional ingredients – Add a pinch of cinnamon, some chopped toasted pecans, or a tablespoon of almond butter or cashew butter.
Garnish the bowl with fresh berries, banana slices, pomegranate seeds, oatmeal or dark chocolate chips.
Or garnish with homemade Nutella sauce

5 Protein Fluff Flavors
Peanut Butter Fluff: Add three tablespoons of peanut flour, or purchase chocolate peanut butter protein powder. Top with a generous spoonful of cream or crunchy peanut butter.
Cookies and Cream: Choose Cookies & Cream Protein and decorate the bowl with crushed Oreos or Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.
Or make a similar no-bake Oreo fluff recipe.
Mint Chocolate Chip: Stir the fourth teaspoon of pure peppermint extract into the chocolate egg white mixture. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and mini chocolate chips.
Chocolate covered strawberries: Stir in a spoonful of freeze-dried strawberries. Add sliced berries to each bowl before serving, or dip fresh strawberries into the fluff.
Vanilla Protein Fluff: For a non-chocolate version, omit the cocoa powder and use your favorite vanilla protein powder. Or try pumpkin or birthday cake batter egg whites.

How to make high-protein snacks
Start by gathering all the ingredients.
In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine yogurt with chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and sweetener.
Beat everything together with a spoon or whisk until light, airy, and completely smooth.
You can also do this step in a food processor or blender if you find it easier.
Portion into bowls, mason jars or glasses and have fun adding different toppings.
Cover any leftovers and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
You can also freeze the protein chocolate fluff if you don’t mind a slightly icy texture. Thaw the frozen recipe and blend it in a blender or food processor to bring back some of the creaminess.
