Winter isn’t the greatest fun of my life, but you have at most my favorite Christmas movie. Maybe some sugar cookies and hot chocolate = heaven. I became like that kid who you don’t hear from in 4 hours and then starts to worry that you don’t hear from them in 4 hours haha. I promise I’ll just enjoy myself and some Christmas magic! Reminisce with us now so you can enjoy these movies later on Christmas Day!

Little Women(2019)
No more to say. I mean, we could really stop right here and I would be perfectly happy with Christmas Eve in Little Women . Louisa May Alcott’s classic American novel is about a close-knit family and follows the journey of sisterhood of the four March sisters. Featuring strong and emotional performances, “Little Women” is a lovely coming-of-age film suitable for all audiences.

white christmas
Retro Christmas is so dreamy and romantic. White Christmas is no exception! A bright and exciting musical, White Christmas dazzles with song, dance and the saving of a small town hotel. The film was made in color during the heyday of the film industry’s transition from black and white to color. As one of several Bing Crosby holiday movies, you’ll be able to hear that delightful, familiar voice on the big screen!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)
My year in kindergarten, our teacher gave us “reindeer treats” to take home and scatter on the lawn so Santa’s reindeer would know where to land. Of course I tried to stay up late to watch Santa arrive, but when I woke up in the morning the reindeer food had mysteriously disappeared! I’m convinced that the most famous reindeer has saved Christmas yet again. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer taught me everything about courage, friendship, and Christmas! Relive the original winter tale with friends and family this holiday season!

boy, mole, fox and horse
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is an award-winning illustrated novel by Charlie MacKay. Adapted into a movie, and also had its own documentary based on the making of the book and movie! The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse has the essence of winter and bedtime stories, a heartwarming story about friends, family and belonging. It’s a heart-warming addition to the best movies to watch at Christmas!

polar express
I don’t know why, but trains always make a place feel like winter. The same goes for Josh Groban. Luckily, The Polar Express offers both! I dream about hot chocolate on the Polar Express, and I guess I’m not alone. The Polar Express hot chocolate scene has been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube! Experience Christmas from a child’s perspective and embark on a spectacular train journey to the North Pole!

Elf
I don’t know if there is a more popular Christmas movie than Elf. I mean, an elf from the North Pole being reintroduced into modern society? What is not to love? Buddy the Elf is understandably clumsy and unconventional, but he has a big heart and radiates the spirit of Christmas. A fun and charming take on Santa’s helpers, Elf remains one of the most popular family movies of Christmas.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss is a holiday must-have. The Grinch has been played and voiced by different actors over the years, but the message remains the same: the gifts aren’t the most important part of Christmas! Determined to get rid of Christmas once and for all, the Grinch hatches a plot against the residents of Whoville. With the Grimm and his sidekick dog Max approaching, can the Grinch succeed in stealing Christmas? After winning a Grammy for Best Children’s Score, you have the chance to sing along to “You’re a Mean Mr. Grinch” in true Christmas form.

Claus
Have you ever wondered why Santa Claus makes toys? Or how he handles all the Christmas lists that come in the mail? Klaus has all the answers! Claus’s adorable and hilarious take on Santa’s Christmas gifts delivers an uplifting message about Christmas and the spirit of giving. 19th century Norway will keep you entertained as you discover the people behind the toys and the joy they brought to Christmas.

fiddler on the roof
Fiddler on the Roof is a critically acclaimed classic musical that first opened on Broadway and was adapted into a film after becoming a huge success. It was the longest-running musical on Broadway until it was surpassed by Grease in 1974. A milkman who juggles faith, family and traditional responsibilities. The captivating numbers capture the great character and personality of Tevye, his wife Gold and their five daughters, who are eager to explore life beyond the walls of their small village.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
Once I came across The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe I became obsessed with these books. This is the second book in a series of seven books written by CS Lewis in the 1950s. In most adventure stories we usually only have one hero or heroine, so I love that The Chronicles of Narnia is about four siblings and their journey together to Narnia. With secret wardrobes, magical kingdoms and the White Witch, Narnia is packed with action – and there’s no shortage of winter in the frozen forests!

home alone
Kevin’s parents make the mistake of taking him to Paris, leading him to believe that his wish has finally come true and he has a house of his own. Things quickly go awry when Kevin discovers two burglars planning to rob the house while his parents are away. Smart, mischievous and slick, Kevin finds a way to defeat the thieves and save Christmas from thieves! As far as Christmas goes, Home Alone is in much need of a laugh track, something fun and witty!
