The cruise line just announced its longest cruise ever – an epic six-month voyage

Azamara launches another epic world cruise, one of the longest in the cruise industry.
On Wednesday, the small cruise line announced that its longest-ever world cruise will depart in 2027.
Azamara prefers longer stays in port and more overnight stays, which fits perfectly with World Cruises itineraries. During the cruise, the cruiser will enjoy 50 late-night port calls and 15 overnight stops.

The circumnavigation will take place aboard the 702-passenger Azamara Quest, offering travelers the opportunity to visit global destinations including Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand, Thailand, Alaska and Sweden. The ship’s size provides an intimate experience and allows cruise ships to access major cruise ports and narrow waterways inaccessible to larger ships. For example, on its round-the-world voyage, Azamara Quest will pass through the Kiel Canal in Germany and go directly to the center of Shanghai.
Azamara is known for catering to wealthy, well-heeled travelers, offering an intimate onboard atmosphere and itineraries focused on immersive experiences. In 2027, World Cruises will host 12 exclusive and free AzAmazing nights, allowing ships to explore the port’s iconic landmarks and cultural performances.
The circumnavigation begins in San Francisco on January 5, 2027, with several sea days calling at ports in Hawaii and French Polynesia.
From there, the Quest will visit American Samoa and Tonga for the remainder of January, before stopping in Fiji and New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, etc.) starting in February. Other highlights in February include port calls in Australia (e.g. Melbourne, Sydney and Kangaroo Island).
Come spring, travelers will be checking off some global experiences on their bucket lists. From March to April, guests will travel to Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and South Korea – the best time to see the cherry blossoms.
