You can now book the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas through Hyatt

Last year, Hyatt announced a new partnership in Las Vegas that will see The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (consisting of the Venetian and Palace hotels) joining World of Hyatt. As of now, this partnership is live and World of Hyatt members can now earn and spend at the only all-suite resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
Beginning January 9, World of Hyatt members can earn and redeem points on qualifying stays at the Venetian and Palace hotels through direct Hyatt channels, such as the Hyatt website or app. They can also earn points toward tier status and milestone rewards, check the new Brand Discovery Rewards box, and earn points when they pay for their room at participating retailers and restaurants.
Elite members who qualify for a stay at a Venetian resort can expect to earn:
- Earn 5 Base Points per qualifying $1 spent on room and resort stays; more than 20 participating restaurants and bars; and select retail stores at the Venetian and Palace Hotels (fees are charged to your room). (Alcohol, tax and other exclusions apply.)
- World of Hyatt credit card members will earn 4 bonus points per qualifying dollar when factored into room charges.
- Elite members earn Standard Tier Bonus Points based on qualifying room rates and resort fees; qualifying purchases at participating restaurants and bars; and select Venetian and Palace retail locations when paying for your room.
- Earn points for tier status and milestone rewards.

They can also redeem their points for free nights at the Venetian, Palace and more than 1,350 Hyatt hotels around the world.
Venetian resort-owned restaurants, such as chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon and Wolfgang Puck’s Cut, will participate in the project. But don’t expect to make money anywhere – like at Thao or its world-famous nightclubs.
Rebuilding Las Vegas Business
Considering that Hyatt’s important strategic relationship with MGM Resorts (and its many hotels) ends in 2023, the Venetian Resorts joining World of Hyatt is a great addition to the Chicago-based hotel company and its more than 400,000 loyalty members It’s a huge victory. ).
Now, Hyatt members can once again earn and burn money on the Las Vegas Strip and feel like they’re in Venice, Italy.

shiny new venetian
Since TPG’s last review of the all-suite Venetian Resort in 2023, $1.5 billion has been spent on the hotel (yes, billion) property reinvestment. It includes a new design for the Venetian’s 4,000 all-suite guest rooms, new restaurants and a complete renovation of the hotel’s conference center.
It follows the hugely successful opening of The Sphere at the Venetian, one of the world’s most technologically advanced entertainment venues; its exterior serves as a 300-foot-tall dome screen and its interior seats 20,000. It has become the home of major bands such as U2.
Stay and play like a VIP
To celebrate this dynamic new partnership, World of Hyatt is auctioning off a Find Experience, where one World of Hyatt member and one lucky guest will receive VIP treatment in Venice during a three-night weekend stay. They will enjoy a deluxe king suite with a Sphere view, dining credits to be used at the resort, two VIP suite tickets to the Sphere concert, a gondola ride through the canals, and a Venetian cabana reservation at the resort.
Tenders are now open online and close on January 16th.
Bottom line:

While there’s nothing surprising or new about these perks (well, except for the discounts on gondola rides that first-time Hyatt members get), World of Hyatt members can rest assured they can hit the Strip again Make money and burn money.
